Cracks
Standard: Masonry cracks should not exceed 3/16 inch in width.
Coverage: As a courtesy, during the Limited Warranty Period, Classic will repair (one time) masonry cracks that exceed 3/16 inch in width.
What's Not Covered
The following are excluded from warranty coverage:
- Efflorescence - The white, powdery substance that sometimes accumulates on stone surfaces is cosmetic and is not a defect in the stone; it is a natural occurrence and is excluded from this Limited Warranty
- Damage not listed on the Final Walkthrough/Orientation Form - Only the damage listed on the form will be repaired
- Tuck-pointing - After several years the stone may require tuck-pointing (repairing the mortar between the stone); this is homeowner maintenance
- Additional crack repairs - The repair of masonry cracks exceeding 3/16 inch in width is a one-time courtesy
