Addressing concerns involving pests and wildlife is the Homeowner's or HOA's (when applicable) responsibility. Classic cannot build a home that is airtight or pest and wildlife proof; there will be numerous areas where pests and wildlife can enter the home.

Performance Standards

Pest and Wildlife Entry

Standard: Insects such as ants, spiders, wasps, and bees, and animal life such as woodpeckers, squirrels, mice, and snakes, may enter the home. Classic cannot build a home that is airtight or pest and wildlife proof.

Coverage: Entrance into the home and damage caused by pests and wildlife is excluded from this Limited Warranty.

What's Not Covered

The following are excluded from warranty coverage:

  • Pest and wildlife entrance into the home - There will be numerous areas where pests and wildlife can enter the home
  • Damage caused by pests and wildlife - Addressing these concerns is the Homeowner's or HOA's (when applicable) responsibility

For assistance, consult informational resources such as the state wildlife service, animal control authorities, the county extension service, pest control professionals, the Internet, and the public library.

Filing a Claim

Pest and wildlife concerns are not covered by the Limited Warranty. For other warranty issues:

  1. Confirm the issue is not related to pest or wildlife entry or damage
  2. Request Service
