Performance Standards

Orientation Inspection

Standard: Landscaping installed by Classic must be properly installed and in a healthy condition.

Coverage: During the Final Walkthrough/Orientation, Classic will confirm that the landscaping is properly installed and is in a healthy condition.

Growing Season Warranty

Standard: Landscape materials that Classic installs are warranted for one growing season, spring through fall.

Coverage: Coverage is never longer than 18 months from the original date of purchase. Maintaining landscaping is the responsibility of the Homeowner or HOA.

Sprinkler System

Standard: If Classic included a sprinkler system with your home, the installer will make final adjustments shortly after you move in.

Coverage: The installer will note and correct any deficiencies in the system at the same time. The Homeowner or HOA is responsible for routine cleaning, adjusting, and repairing sprinkler heads as well as shutting the system down in the fall.

  • Pre-existing trees and plant materials - Trees and other plant materials that were on the lot prior to construction are excluded from this Limited Warranty
  • Trees removed or damaged during construction - Classic will not replace trees removed or damaged during the construction of the home; damage from construction activities can manifest months after completion of construction
  • Erosion - Correcting erosion is your responsibility, including protecting newly planted seed with erosion matting or reseeding to establish grass in swales
  • Contractor drainage changes - You are responsible for changes to the drainage pattern made by any landscape, concrete, or other contractor that you hire
