Manufacturer Warranties

Classic assigns all appliance warranties to you, effective on the date of closing. The appliance manufacturers warrant their products directly to you according to the terms and conditions of these written warranties.

Performance Standards

Orientation Inspection

Standard: All appliances should be in working condition and appliance surfaces should be undamaged at the Final Walkthrough/Orientation.

Coverage: During the Final Walkthrough/Orientation, Classic will confirm that all appliances are in working condition and that the appliance surfaces are not damaged. Classic will only repair any appliances or appliance surfaces that were listed on the Final Walkthrough/Orientation Form.

What's Not Covered

The following are excluded from warranty coverage:

  • Appliances and other consumer products - Classic does not warrant appliances or other consumer products; manufacturers warrant their products directly to you
  • Appliance or surface issues not listed on the Final Walkthrough/Orientation Form - Only listed items are repaired by Classic

Filing a Claim

If you believe you have a warranty issue:

  1. Check whether the issue was listed on your Final Walkthrough/Orientation Form
  2. For appliance defects after closing, contact the appliance manufacturer under its written warranty
  3. Request Service
