Performance Standards

Condition at Orientation

Standard: Electrical and plumbing fixtures should be installed without defects.

Coverage: During the Final Walkthrough/Orientation Classic will confirm that the electrical and plumbing fixtures are installed without defects. Only the fixtures listed on the Final Walkthrough/Orientation Form will be repaired.

What's Not Covered

The following are excluded from warranty coverage:

  • Tarnishing - Classic does not warrant against tarnishing of fixtures
  • Fading - Fading of fixture finishes is not covered
  • Corrosion damage - Corrosion damage to the external surfaces or internal workings of fixtures is not covered; this limitation includes solid metal or coated fixtures
  • Fixtures not listed at orientation - Only the fixtures listed on the Final Walkthrough/Orientation Form will be repaired
Manufacturer Warranties

Many of the fixtures and appliances in your home do carry a manufacturers warranty above and beyond the Limited Warranty offered by Classic.

Filing a Claim

If you believe you have a warranty issue:

  1. Check whether the fixture was listed on your Final Walkthrough/Orientation Form
  2. Check the manufacturer's warranty that may apply to the fixture
  3. Request Service
