Operation
Standard: Windows should operate with reasonable ease and locks should perform as designed.
Coverage: During the Limited Warranty Period Classic will provide adjustments on windows that do not operate properly.
Condensation
Standard: Condensation on interior surfaces of the window and frame is the result of high humidity within the home and low outside temperatures. You influence the humidity level within your home; see Condensation.
Coverage: Condensation on windows is excluded from this Limited Warranty.
Broken Seals
Standard: Condensation that accumulates between the panes of glass in dual-glazed windows indicates a broken seal.
Coverage: During the First Year of the Limited Warranty Period and as a courtesy, Classic will replace glass with broken seals. After the first year, refer to the Manufacturer's Warranty for replacement.
Infiltration
Standard: Some air and dust will infiltrate around windows, especially before the installation of landscaping in the general area.
Coverage: Dust and air infiltration is excluded from this Limited Warranty.
Scratches
Standard: During the Final Walkthrough/Orientation Classic confirms that all window glass is free of scratches and damage.
Coverage: Classic will repair or replace windows that have scratches readily visible from a distance of eight (8) feet at the Final Walkthrough/Orientation. Only the scratches and damage listed on the Final Walkthrough/Orientation Form will be repaired or replaced.
Tinting
Standard: Damage can result from condensation or excessive heat build-up between the panes of glass when tinting is added.
Coverage: If you add tinting to dual-glazed windows, all warranties are voided. Refer to the manufacturer's literature for additional information.
