Total loss of air conditioning when outside temperature is above 90°F qualifies as an emergency. Call 719-592-9333 immediately.
Performance Standards
Temperature Control
Standard: The air conditioning system should maintain an average temperature of 78°F or a differential of 15°F from the outside temperature, whichever is higher.
Measurement: Temperature is measured in the center of each room at a height of 5 feet above the floor.
Lower temperature settings are often possible, but neither the manufacturer nor Classic Homes guarantees this.
Condenser Level
Standard: The outdoor condensing unit must be level for efficient operation.
Coverage: Classic Homes will re-level the condenser during the first year only. This is a one-time adjustment.
What's Not Covered
The following are excluded from warranty coverage:
- Temperature variations between rooms and floors - This is normal due to floor plan, sun exposure, window size, and heat rising to upper floors
- Manufacturer component failures - Refer to manufacturer warranty for equipment issues
- Damage from improper use - Including running AC with windows open, blocking vents, or neglecting filter changes
- Damage from lack of maintenance - Regular filter changes and system maintenance are homeowner responsibilities
- Humidifier-related damage - Classic Homes does not install humidifiers and is not responsible for damage from humidifier installation or use
