Performance Standards

Installation Quality

Standard: All mirrors are installed without defects at the time of closing.

Verification: During the New Home Presentation or Welcome Home Orientation, Classic Homes will confirm that all mirrors are installed without defects.

Coverage: Classic Homes will only correct scratches, chips, or other damage to mirrors listed on the New Home Presentation or Welcome Home Orientation Form.

Secure Mounting

Standard: Mirrors remain securely attached to the wall.

Coverage: During the first year, Classic Homes will repair mirrors that come loose from the wall due to installation defects.

What's Not Covered

The following are excluded from warranty coverage:

  • Damage not documented at orientation - Any scratches, chips, or damage not listed on the orientation form
  • Deterioration from improper cleaning products - Using ammonia or vinegar-based cleaners can damage the silvering
  • Water damage to silvering - Moisture can damage the reflective coating, causing black spots
  • Black spots from moisture - Environmental moisture damage is not covered
  • Damage from cleaning method - Spraying cleaner directly on mirror can cause edge damage
Protecting Your Mirrors

Spray cleaner on cloth, not directly on mirror, to prevent moisture from reaching the edges and damaging the silvering.
