Performance Standards
Installation Quality
Standard: All mirrors are installed without defects at the time of closing.
Verification: During the New Home Presentation or Welcome Home Orientation, Classic Homes will confirm that all mirrors are installed without defects.
Coverage: Classic Homes will only correct scratches, chips, or other damage to mirrors listed on the New Home Presentation or Welcome Home Orientation Form.
Secure Mounting
Standard: Mirrors remain securely attached to the wall.
Coverage: During the first year, Classic Homes will repair mirrors that come loose from the wall due to installation defects.
What's Not Covered
The following are excluded from warranty coverage:
- Damage not documented at orientation - Any scratches, chips, or damage not listed on the orientation form
- Deterioration from improper cleaning products - Using ammonia or vinegar-based cleaners can damage the silvering
- Water damage to silvering - Moisture can damage the reflective coating, causing black spots
- Black spots from moisture - Environmental moisture damage is not covered
- Damage from cleaning method - Spraying cleaner directly on mirror can cause edge damage
Spray cleaner on cloth, not directly on mirror, to prevent moisture from reaching the edges and damaging the silvering.
