What's Not Covered

The following are excluded from warranty coverage:

  • Frozen pipes - Unless caused by construction defect; keep heat at minimum 62°F when away
  • Damage from toilet cleaning agents - Products like Tidy Bowl that stay in the tank can cause premature failure of wax seals and gaskets
  • Exterior faucet damage - When hose is left attached in freezing weather or when pressurized hose is left connected
  • Secondary water damage - Wallpaper, drapes, personal belongings damaged by water
  • Clogs after 30 days - Unless caused by installation defect
  • Normal pipe noise - Temperature changes cause expansion/contraction sounds
  • Sump pump after Year 1 - Maintenance and replacement is homeowner responsibility
  • Extending sump discharge line - Classic Homes installs to exterior; extending is your responsibility
