Performance Standards​

Homeowner-Installed Humidifiers​

Standard: If a humidifier is installed on the furnace system, turn it off when you use the air conditioning; otherwise, the additional moisture can cause a freeze-up of the cooling system.

Coverage: Classic does not install humidifiers and is not responsible for any damage that results from the installation or improper usage of a humidifier.

What's Not Covered​

The following are excluded from warranty coverage:

  • Humidifiers - Classic does not install humidifiers
  • Damage resulting from a humidifier - Classic is not responsible for any damage that results from the installation or improper usage of a humidifier

Filing a Claim​

If you believe you have a warranty issue:

  1. Note that humidifiers and any damages associated with their improper installation or usage are excluded from this Limited Warranty
  2. For related concerns not caused by a humidifier, identify the affected component (air conditioning, heating system, condensation, flooring)
  3. Request Service
