Customer Care Program

The first year of the Limited Warranty

As a convenience to you, our valued customer, and to provide you with prompt professional customer service, during The Customer Care Program (the first year of the Limited Warranty Period), Classic Homes Customer Care Department will automatically contact you to schedule two (2) Customer Care Appointments. These appointments are designed to ensure the quality of your new home.

Keep a List

To prepare for your two appointments, you should maintain a list of items that you find in your home that you want Classic to review. This will allow you to be better prepared to discuss them during one of the two scheduled Customer Care Appointments.

Classic Customer Care Appointments

Initial Customer Care Appointment

In order for our service program to operate at maximum efficiency, as well as for your own convenience, you will be contacted within thirty (30) days of your closing to schedule a customer care appointment to review any items in your home that you feel should be repaired. This 30-day period allows you sufficient time to become settled in your new home and thoroughly examine all components.

Year End Customer Care Appointment

Near the end of the eleventh month after your Warranty Commencement Date, you will be contacted to schedule your Year End Customer Care Appointment. During this appointment, we will review any outstanding warranty issues you may have with your new home.

Routine Warranty Requests

If you wish to initiate non-emergency warranty requests between the Initial and Year End appointments, or at any time during the Limited Warranty Period, you are welcome to do so by contacting the Classic Homes Customer Care Department. Any service requests received during the Limited Warranty Period will be performed pursuant to the terms, conditions and limitations of the Limited Warranty.

See Requesting Service for how to submit a request.

Requests for Service After the First Year of Ownership (Years 2–8)

Following the Customer Care Program, Classic will review requests for service and repair the item(s) that are determined to be construction defects as outlined in Classic's Standards of Performance. Classic will not review or repair items that are the responsibility of the Homeowner or Homeowners Association to maintain.
