Home Start Conference
You will have the opportunity to meet with your Builder at least four scheduled times during the home building process. The first of these, the Home Start Conference, takes place before construction begins. Your Pre-Drywall Inspection and the later walks through your home are covered under Walkthroughs.
The first of your Builder meetings is the Home Start Conference. Your Sales Specialist typically schedules this appointment before construction of your home begins. This meeting can last between 30 to 90 minutes, depending on the size of the home, the options selected, and your questions.
The purpose of the Home Start Conference is to conduct a comprehensive review of your plans and specifications as well as the building process itself. We will discuss site visit protocols, how to handle questions, trade contractor communication, and change requests. Meeting details and a copy of the agenda follow.
